Leonard Geyer

Leonard Geyer leads the NEXT-UP research team at the European Centre, focusing on the analysis and development of youth employability policies (Work Packages 5 and 6). His research interests include active labour market policies and strategies to support the integration of vulnerable youth into education and training systems. Leonard completed his PhD on the use of active labour market policies for young people in Europe and has published on the social inclusion function of vocational education and training in journals such as Socio-Economic Review and the European Journal of Social Policy.
