Sabina Gjylsheni is a policy researcher at the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research. Her interdisciplinary expertise lies at the intersection of social policy, human rights, and governance, with an increasing emphasis on youth-related policies. She has extensive experience in working and implementing research and policy projects for EU institutions (including the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights), international organizations, NGOs, and civil society actors.
Sabina’s work combines policy analysis with applied evaluation methodologies, particularly in the areas of social protection, inclusion of vulnerable groups, and youth rights. She has contributed to peer-reviewed country reviews, impact assessments, and cross-national policy analyses.
With academic credentials from Maastricht University (MA in European Studies) and a Master of Science in Political Science and International Relations, Sabina brings both analytical depth and regional insight. Her dual lived experience in the EU and Western Balkans informs her commitment to evidence-based policymaking that supports meaningful EU integration and addresses the aspirations of younger generations in the region.
