Victoria de Castro is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a predoctoral researcher in the NEXT-UP project. Her research focuses on educational inequality, precarity, and the capability approach, with a particular interest in how social background and institutional arrangements shape young people’s educational and professional opportunities. She holds a double MSc in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento and in Sociology: Politics, Policy and Society in a Comparative Perspective from Tilburg University.
