In January, the kick-off meeting of our promising international project “next-up” took place in Tampere, Finland. The event was a complete success, both on a human and professional level. The project consortium, which consisted of several partners from different European countries, had met in a relaxed and professional atmosphere, which laid the foundation for successful cooperation.
A harmonious team dynamic
From the very first meeting, it became clear that the chemistry between the consortium members was right. In relaxed conversations and during the presentations, it was possible to see how well the participants got along and how committed they were to working on the common goal realization. It became clear that, in addition to professional competence, interpersonal relationships would also play an important role in the successful implementation of the project.
From the very beginning, the climate was characterised by a positive and cooperative attitude – also with those responsible at EU level, which is seen as a great advantage for the coming cooperation. In an international context where different ways of working meet, a good team spirit is invaluable.

The focus of the kick-off meeting was, of course, on the content-related topics. The various work packages that each partner in the project will take on were presented. The responsibilities and milestones were named to ensure that the project runs smoothly.

Good food and an unforgettable sauna visit
In addition to the content-related topics, the physical well-being was not neglected. The team enjoyed excellent Finnish food that not only pampered the stomach but also the senses.
Another highlight was the joint sauna visit, which is typical for Finnish culture. After an intense day of discussions and planning, the team was able to relax in a Finnish sauna. The sauna not only offered the opportunity for relaxation, but also an opportunity for informal exchange. In a relaxed environment, they were able to get to know each other even better and further strengthen the team spirit.
The sauna visit rounded off the kick-off meeting perfectly and promoted team cohesion in a unique way. There was a lot of laughter, and the participants were able to exchange their thoughts in a relaxed way – which not only contributes to relaxation, but also to long-term cooperation.
