Ivano Bison, Stanislave Stedronsky Emmanuel Ngoy, and Taru Siekkinen from the NEXT-UP consortium traveled to Sicily this week.
Their task: to participate at the CHER conference at Catania Sicily.
The special plan: to join forces with the colleagues from the EDU-LAB project especially Alexander Chvorostov in a special panel chaired by Taru Siekkinen.
Youth employability and labour market transitions: Insights from two Horizon Europe projects
Both projects started in January 2025 and bring in first insights and results. They share the general focus on transitions of young people from education to the labour markets.
In this symposium the will provide a multidimensional understanding of employability, skills mismatches, and transition pathways. Both, persistent structural challenges and new opportunities for policy and institutional innovation will be highlighted and their role in supporting young people’s labour market integration shown.
